Personal Childhood Web

My Grandmother (Mayrean Johnson)- The light of my life, the woman that raised me after her children were grown. She influenced me in so many ways, she is the reason why I decided to get my Masters in Early Childhood. With her taking me in at the age of 11 and raising me as her child showed me how much she truly loved me. Her and my family showed me how to have a stable home and unconditional love is. I am grown and have my child of my own and she still influence me by teaching me and showing me how to be a better mother. She makes sure that we never go without even if we really don't need it.
My Aunt (Shuvonne Johnson)- My third mother as I tell people. She helped raise me alone with my grandmother. She influenced me in so many ways. She showed me that there is no stopping and no holding back on getting your education. She waited until she was over 35 to have a child because she wanted to be able to get her education first. When I was growing up she always told me no matter what get your education. Now that I am grown and trying further my education she still encourages me to continue no matter what.
My Daddy (Nicholas Johnson)- My father was not always around because he worked so much and his job had him traveling, but he showed me what a hard working man looked like. My father showed me love in a different way. He showed me how someone should take care of me and my family. He influenced my hard work ethics. As I grew older he bought me my first car and gave me a house. Now that I am grown with my own child I understand why he worked so hard.
My Sister (Briea Baker)- My oldest little sister. She has influenced me so much as a child and into adulthood. When I was a child I wasn't as outspoken as my sister and she influenced me not always in the best ways but she helped me come out of my shell. She showed me first what sister love was. Now we as adults I can't go a day without speaking to her. I have to see her crazy self so that she can make me laugh.
My Uncle (Barron Adams)- One of my favorite uncles in this entire world. He influenced me in so many ways as well. He showed me how to live my life and never be scared to. When I was a kid he was one of my uncles that helped raised me because my father was not always there. When my Uncle was 25 he was diagnosed with HIV. I didn't know about this until I was 14 years old and I never treated him any different. As I grew older I was the one that ended up taking care of him. Every Saturday he would call me and say come take me to get something to eat. I would take him and we would have a good time. Unfortunately he died last July from cardiac arrest and I sat there with him. I was ok with because he had suffered for long enough. Now that I am older he has taught me to live my life to the fullest because tomorrow it not promised.
